Family nordic walking

Nordic walking is one of the healthiest forms of recreation.

Together with family members, the students tried Nordic walking, which is done with the help of sticks. These can be for hiking, skiing, or especially for Nordic walking. The difference between ordinary walking (without poles) and Nordic walking is primarily that in Nordic walking we also include the upper body and thus activate almost 90% of all muscles in the body. In doing so, we have to supply more muscles with blood, and the result of this is a higher heart rate.
